Psychotherapy and counselling in Holborn
About me
Choosing the right therapist is an important decision. It is not only that we are looking for a person with the appropriate qualifications, but also someone we can trust and feel safe with.
I have substantial experience in offering individual therapy in institutional and private settings. My therapeutic approach is grounded in the experiences and feelings you bring. I hope to provide a space where you are listened to and understood in a way you have not been before. In responding to your needs, my training and clinical experience enable me to offer you once-weekly counselling and twice-weekly psychotherapy.
Alongside my qualification as a therapist, I also hold a PhD in psychology. Working as a Senior Lecturer at the Open University, I am a member of the School of Psychology’s Psychotherapy and Counselling Research Group and publish regularly in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
I am registered with the following professional bodies and abide by their ethics standards:
-
British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC)
-
Foundation for Psychology and Counselling (FPC)
-
British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
